Proposal for a central square in a context of listed heritage buildings in Linz, Austria -
The decision to maintain the existing trees is of great ecological significance for the design. It is important to deal with this parameter and to enter into a dialogue with the new underground parking, the existing monuments, the new road layout and to integrate these aspects in a coherent strategy. The competition proposal tries to create a concept that finds innovative responses and improves the ecological situation.
