Proposal for a revitalisation of a derelict urban area and ideas for a reintegration concept into the existing urban fabric in Varberg, Sweden -
The concept for the proposal takes up the linear structure of the water´s edge and dissolves it by allowing various finger-like canals into the city in order to create an attractive urban space that relates to the water. Different parks and landscaped urban amenities coexist with the residential and commercial buildings, thus producing an adequate density for the urban embankment area.
